go here Nintendo since its launch of the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) way back in 1985 has become a legacy and a major company in the gaming industry bringing us unforgettable games like Pokémon and Fire Emblem among many others. Over the years everyone at some point in life has played a Nintendo game. It could have been on an NES or a Wii or the new handheld’s but it doesn’t change the fact that all of us at some point did. Nintendo has amassed a massive following internationally and continues to grow and continues to bring us awesome games that we all love but the fact remains that it is still a Japanese Company.
http://ashbournefarmsupplies.com/shop/cow-calf-equipment/arm-length-gloves-box-of-100/ Since its launch, Nintendo has released a massive number of games of which most did not end up on international shelves. One would assume most of the games that did not make it out of japan were low key or low budget games but as surprising as it seems some major titles have not seen the shelves of any country out of Japan!
1. Fire Emblem
One of the finest examples of awesome games not making their way to English consumers is the entire Fire Emblem series. The fire emblem series is one of the oldest and most cherished Nintendo IP’s who are still seeing production even today! It comes as a shock to find out over half the games of the series weren’t available to the international audience for many years. There are a total of 15 games in the main series, in which only 7 have been localized internationally.
- Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken
- Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
- Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
- Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
- Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
- Fire Emblem Awakening
- Fire Emblem Fates
while 8 have still not been localized internationally.
- Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi
- Fire Emblem Gaiden
- Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem
- Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
- Fire Emblem: Archanea Saga
- Fire Emblem: Thracia 776
- Fire Emblem: Binding Blade
- Fire Emblem: Shin Monshō no Nazo ~Hikari to Kage no Eiyū~
Even now some of the most mind-blowing Fire Emblem games like the Fire Emblem: Thriacia 776 and Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem have still seen no official English or European release. As of today, there are over 14 Fire Emblem game titles that still haven’t seen localization in any other language or country.
2. The Mario Series
When talking about some of the best games that didn’t get localization outside of Japan I can name over 5 titles without even trying. The Mario universe has been the flagship of Nintendo for years now.
The number of Mario games that never made it out of Japan is disappointingly very high especially considering some amazing titles like Mario & Wario, Mario’s Super Picross along with 46 more Mario-verse games that still aren’t available to the international community and chance are they never will be.
On the bright side, there hasn’t been a Japan exclusive Mario game in some time so hopefully, we won’t be missing out on what’s to come. Just in case, you want to know what you are missing on here are all the Mario-verse games that never made it out of japan.
3. Seiken Densetsu Series AKA The Mana Series
Seiken Densetsu 3 is the sequel of the internationally loved Secret of Mana probably has one of the finest and most memorable gameplay elements of any action RPG out there. Following the major international success of the first 2 Mana/Seiken Densetsu games, it came as a shock when people realized they will never get to play the third and possibly the best part.
This was probably the first time in history that the international community realized that they were missing out on one awesome Japanese game which made it all the more unbearable.
